Medical Director, Five Star ER
Brian Aldred, MD, FACEP, is the founding medical director for Five Star ER. Originally from the Chicago area, Dr. Aldred graduated with honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a degree in biology. He attended medical school and completed his residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and was elected an at-large member of ACEP’s Freestanding Emergency Center Section in 2014. From 2008 to 2014, Dr. Aldred served as the emergency department medical director at Seton Medical Center Williamson in Round Rock. Dr. Aldred lives in Leander with his wife and three daughters. They have thoroughly enjoyed their relocation to Central Texas—so much that his wife and middle daughter were considering becoming vegetarians before their move, but now regularly eat barbeque and consider chicken to be a vegetarian dish! Furthermore, they have all seen a family member either catch, kill, or be bitten by a rattlesnake, scorpion, or tarantula—but not necessarily in that order. Outside of work, the Aldred family enjoys traveling to explore new places and experiencing new cultures.

Jenny was married in 2003 and has a daughter and son. The family is fed well – Jenny’s husband is a chef who owns two restaurants in Austin. Besides eating delicious food they like to relax together as a family and spend time with their rescue pit bulls. Besides her full home life, and work at Five Star ER, Jenny volunteers her time at her kids’ school by teaching bystander CPR and also with the Williamson County Medical Reserve Corps.
